"Perfect little campsite to stop at while car-camping or with a small vehicle. The shower/toilet pod was so clean and warm, I had the best shower. The barn with amenities is charming and it was so nice to have somewhere to escape the wind and make a cuppa tea."

Real reviews from guests
"Absolutely perfect in every way. The site is peaceful, well-organised, and spotlessly clean. The communal room is a real standout. I has everything you could possibly need, from books, toys, games, DVDs and a TV, to practical touches like a microwave, kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes airer, pots, pans, cutlery, plates and glasses. The views are stunning, and the price is very reasonable for what’s on offer. Couldn’t recommend it more highly."
"Camped one night 7th July. Small but perfect. Every little detail considered. The owners are very friendly and clearly trying to offer a high quality stay. They have thought of everything. I won't list what as it's too long to try, but very camper and cycle friendly!"
"Best shower on the island! Thank you, Alice, for a lovely nights stay this week. The facilities here are brilliant - they have a wee barn with washing up and clothes washing facilities and also a space to sit and watch tv if you wish. The showers are lovely- just like a bathroom at home. Clean and great water pressure. You can walk down the Croft and on to the beach which isn’t a sandy beach but good for the..."
"Alice is the most superb host, and made us feel very welcome. The barn is excellent and every detail has been thought of. Such a relief to shelter in there as the weather took a turn. We've been cycling the hebridean way and this campsite is the most thoughtful place we have stayed. It also has the best shower on the route!! Perfect place for cyclists or other campers!"
"Had a great night camping here. Showers were amazing and the Barn is great if you want to get out of the elements and not be in the tent. Owners are welcoming and really helpful!"
"We stayed in the Grande Max ensuite pod for two (12-15/09/25). It has a comfortable double bed, a bathroom containing shower and toilet and a kitchen/living area. There is good wifi. For those who don't want to cook, the Borve Country House Hotel is a short walk away. The hosts (Alice and Eddie) explain everything and are very hospitable."
"A nice comfortable and convenient spot to stay, close to a shop, take-away, main road and bus route. The facilities for campers are more like what you'd expect at a hostel, rather than a small campsite. The beach at the end of the croft was easy to access, very private and had many small pristine rock pools. Other campers were very friendly, as were the locals."
